In this project, the Azzotech team used a planetary dust-free diamond grinder to prepare the floor for the renovation process. This tool is specifically designed to remove surface coatings and level the surface of the floor, creating a smooth and even surface for further repairs and treatments.
After preparing the floor, the team proceeded to make repairs where necessary, ensuring that the surface was free from any cracks, holes, or other damage. With the repairs complete, the next step was to cut and refill 300 linear meters of expansion joints, ensuring that the floor could expand and contract without causing any damage. This is an essential step to prevent future damage to the floor and maintain its integrity for years to come.
With the floor repairs complete, the team applied a high-build coating to the surface, which transformed the old, tired warehouse into a highly usable space. High-build coatings provide a durable, long-lasting finish that is resistant to wear and tear, making it ideal for high-traffic areas such as warehouses. The result was a smooth, even, and visually appealing floor that can withstand the demands of daily use.
