Floor Preparation Using Specialist Scanmaskin Equipment
Azzotech uses its own Scanmaskin diamond grinding equipment with dust extraction to prepare concrete and existing flooring surfaces.
This allows us to carry out mechanical floor preparation as part of our resin flooring installations, without relying on a separate preparation contractor for routine grinding work.

How We Prepare and Renovate Your Floor
1. Inspect the Existing Floor
We assess the surface, identify visible damage and discuss how the area is used.
Where necessary, we consider moisture, contamination, cracks and the condition of existing coatings before recommending a flooring system.
2. Remove Unsuitable Surface Material
Old coatings, loose material and surface contamination are removed as required.
We use mechanical preparation methods appropriate to the substrate and proposed flooring.
3. Repair and Prepare the Surface
Cracks and damaged areas are repaired where appropriate. Uneven sections may require grinding, filling or levelling.
We prepare the surface to meet the requirements of the selected resin flooring system.
4. Install the New Flooring System
Once the surface is ready, we can apply the specified resin coating or screed.
Where practical, installation can be planned around your production schedule or normal working hours.
